We are seeking a Network/Server Engineer to support the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. In this role you will join a technically diverse team to include, but not limited to Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. This team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) which is responsible for training law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies

Responsibilities Perform engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance tasks on the networking environment.Assist with peer reviews on network maintenance, projects, and initiatives.Identify, review, and recommend security postures to peers and appropriate security teams.Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.Install hardware such as: routers, firewalls, wireless, and switches. 3+ years of network engineering experience within a technically diverse environmentIdeal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Information Technology - Network Administration/Engineering. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degreeProficiency in network engineering - Cisco switching and routingUnderstanding of engineering Aruba Networks switching Strong understanding of IPv6, IPv4, and dual stackingStrong understanding of OSPF routing protocolStrong understanding of SDN and automationExcellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills using the English languageCCNA (Cisco) and ACSA, ACSP, or ACSX (Aruba Networks) switching certificates - preferredMust be able to pass the Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation Posted Min Pay Rate USD $68,075.21/Yr.
