What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a results-driven Network Administrator to configure, maintain, and optimize our company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage network devices (such as firewalls, access points, access switches, load balancers, F5 Big-IP, etc.), administer multiple sites, provide technical support, ensure network security and performance, and conduct analysis and network design.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of implementing and maintaining network routing and switching, firewalls, wireless, software-defined networking and security, and other related technologies. They should demonstrate their expertise through the successful administration of these technologies and solutions across multiple sites.

Network Administrator Responsibilities:

Evaluate existing infrastructure and systems to determine business needs.Maintain a reliable, efficient, and secure data communication network.Monitor network performance (availability, throughput, utilization).Define network policies and procedures.Provide technical support and document Network Administrator processes.Stay informed about developments in data security technologies and products.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Network Administrator Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, or a similar field. Relevant certifications are preferred.CCNA certification, or an industry equivalent, is preferred.Proven experience handling/configuring Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, and Checkpoint products.Minimum of four years’ experience in a Network Administrator role.Minimum of four years’ experience administering Firewalls, Routers, AP, and Network Switches.Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of routing, switching, Linux, VMware NSX, VPN, and related technologies.Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and technical skills.Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to be available to resolve urgent network and connectivity problems outside of business hours.
