We are currently recruiting for a Network Analyst who will report directly into the Network  Supervisor. We are offering this role on a 7:7 roster where you can drive in and out of site!

The Network Analyst will assist in ensuring that all Boddington production networks and related infrastructure are maintained, supported, optimized and reliable.  You will have experience in Cisco device management support, a relevant territory degree and hold an understanding of LTE technology.

 

 The role:

Proactively supports and maintains the Boddington Operational Technology Network Infrastructure and ensures maximum availabilityReal-time support and escalation point for production network systemsSupport the Network Supervisor in maintaining an operable network test environment for general network testing and MineStar User Acceptance TestingEnsure network redundancy systems operate as designed and routinely coordinates testingResponsible for ensuring that network documentation is accurate, maintained and available on a timely basisSupport the investigation of faults in switching, firewalls and other security appliancesConduct testing of network equipment configuration and firmware upgrades

 

About you:

Demonstrated  experience in a technical support roleStrong mix of business, functional, and technical skillsRelevant territory degree plus relevant experience Good understanding of Mining or other Resources type OperationsProven ability to discuss server, storage and backup concepts and strategies in simple, clear terms to help drive and influence decision making of business and application ownersBroad knowledge of all technology considerations (performance, scalability, maintainability, deployment, operations, technology infrastructure)
