The Network Support Specialist Intern will provide technical support to U-Haul locations across the U.S. and Canada by troubleshooting Internet connections, configuring network equipment and supporting mobile devices.
This internship will start February 3rd and will run for 10+ weeks.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for remote assistance to teleworkers connecting to the U-Haul network.
Will work within a team environment to provide Customer Service focused support.
Responsible for working with Service providers, end users and other U-Haul teams, to troubleshoot connections and equipment and take corrective action for problems.
Perform routine maintenance or other projects as required.
Will create and/or update internal tickets to document tasks, projects and daily work.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Networks, PC/Mac OS and mobile devices.
Must understand IP addressing and have knowledge of routing/switching, tunneling, security and wireless systems.
Experience with Cisco Meraki equipment and configuration
Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Requires the ability to work well in a team environment with little or no supervision.
Ability to follow through with tasks, projects and handle several tasks simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Occasional off hours work is required.
