Telos is looking for a Network Support Technician to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) -

Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.

 

Brings critical network administration and configuration technical expertise to the Orchestration & Automation Teams (OATs) and the Site Implementation Teams (SITs).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensures the operation and maintenance of the AGUN information technology and network infrastructure. Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. Contributes to the overall performance, security, and availability of the program's Information Technology (IT) environment. Diagnoses and resolves network-related issues, installs network hardware, implements network configurations, and provides technical support to end-users. Configures, implements and operates IT and network applications to manage and perform network management and orchestration functions in production, lab, staging and test environments. Manages and assigns relevant Internet Protocol (IP) space in coordination with other systems across the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN-A) Operations Center. Meets with the Army DODIN-A Operations Center regularly to report on the status of the orchestration implementation and overall network health. Ensures the direct down trace configuration, troubleshooting and touch labor, providing input for local IT personnel assisting with network maintenance. Collaborates with assigned technical team to implement base configuration files for any changes that need to be made to new devices. Develops, maintains, and updates technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, application/system design, and network architecture and design.
