Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Network System Administrator professional to support a major national laboratory.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and repair physical and virtual server systems.

Resolve technical issues affecting hardware, operating systems, or applications.Apply operating system or application patches, install or replace hardware, and implement configuration changes to improve or restore system performance.Perform system capacity analysis and planning. Assist users in accessing and using business systems.Develop instructions and procedures for system maintenance, create scripts to automate monitoring and repair tasks, and conduct quality assurance checks.Collaborate with customers, subject matter experts, and architects to analyze, evaluate, and optimize systems. Contribute to process development and system improvement efforts.Other Duties as assignedHybrid work at discretion of the Service Manager Qualifications BS in relevant discipline or in lieu of degree 6 years of related experienceActive DOE Q Clearance.U.S. Citizenship

Desired:

• Intermediate-to-advanced support & trouble shooting skills
• Knowledge of Computer Management Solutions, IT Cyber Policies, and common enterprise environments
