Semper Valens Solutions is seeking personnel to provide Tier II customer service support to US ARMY INSCOM customers within the TNCC and ITOC. Responsible for providing software support to CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, network security appliances and other related network hardware.\n

Responsibilities:\n
The engineer will perform support activities, as a member of a team, on a variety of IT requirements based on client requirements. Work may include temporary travel to provide support activities, in support of the customer. The engineer will perform in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, and must be willing to take initiative to proactively solve conflicts and address issues.\n
These Network\/System engineer duties include the following:\n\nPerform administration duties for networking hardware including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, network bridges, modems, ISDN adapters, firewalls and other related network hardware.\nResponsible for the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to user accounts and access to GET TDN2 AD and GET WAN.\nMonitor and respond to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.\nInstall and configure network hardware and software.\nProvide network troubleshooting and support.\nProvide technical support and training to end-users.\nAdminister network security.\nSet up new users and delete old users from the network.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with network infrastructure and\/or components.\nEnsure and provide effective customer service.\n\n

Required Skills \/ Experience:\n\nMust maintain an active DoD Top Secret w\/SCI clearance, and willingness and eligibility to undergo and pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI POLY).\nMust have a valid IAT-II and Industry recognized Network fundamentals certificate (i.e. A+, Network+, SSCP of CCNA Security certification with continuing education\n5+ years' experience supporting configuring, operating and troubleshooting networks.\nExperience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.\nComprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and application.\nComprehensive experience administering Active Directory environments.\nPowerShell Scripting experience\nExperience with using portal-based ticketing systems to create and maintain records.\nExperience with developing reports and providing updates to colleagues and stakeholders.\nExcellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables.\nMust be a high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment.\nMust have firm grasp and knowledge of fiber and copper-based Ethernet technologies, capabilities and cabling and their connectivity to local and wide area networks.\nExhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace.\nDisplay effective organizational skills with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.\nExecute effective verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with a variety of government, military, and contractor personnel.\n\n
Education Required:\n\nHigh School diploma (or equivalent).\n\n
