Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The NSCM will collect, store, and manage the approved baselines of systems being documented through the Configuration Change Items (CCIs). Ensure complete accuracy for periodic auditing from Higher Headquarters. The NSCM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nEstablish and support the AFCENT Configuration\/ Change Advisory Board (CAB) in accordance with Joint, USCENTCOM, HQ Air Force, and local Operating Instructions.\nProvide functional management of the CAB, coordinate place and time of the CAB with board president and other voting members, collect recorded meeting minutes and publish information on a secure web page.\n Manage the AFCENT A6 current system for new requirements and the current AFCENT Trouble ticket system for O&M equipment purchases, as well as other USAF and\/or DoD software supporting the AFCENT mission.\nCreate, coordinate, and manage all Configuration Management (CM) Communications Task Orders (CTO) submissions and release to AFCENT and HQ Air Force leadership for publishing.\nWork with Change and Release Management to check all systems and network standard processes through performance evaluation for technical accuracy and viability.\nEnsure CM OPR Tabs within local policies are technically accurate and up-to-date.\nManage the procurement, licensing, and life-cycle of all AFCENT software to include but not limited to the Quote process, purchase, store, make available to requestor all software utilized on the AFCENT Enterprise.\nUse toolsets such as MECM and Solar Winds, as well as other asset management tools for validation of actively used software, as well as analyzing versioning to ensure proper security and patching is accurate.\n Compile appropriate data to support the Risk Management Framework process pertaining to each documented circuit up for accreditation annually.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nSenior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience AND SolarWinds, Netscout and Unix\/Linux experience. Active TS with SCI Eligibility clearance required. \nMid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience. Active Secret Clearance required.\nA+ CE and ITIL Foundation required.\n\n
