Network Systems Engineer (Expert) Overall Assignment Description: Expert Network Engineers plan and develop telecommunications solutions involving computer and communications equipment. They analyze network alternatives and develop recommendations for improvements. Duties include: · Analyzes, designs, tests, and evaluates network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide · area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, satellite, and other data communications systems. · Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning. · Oversees the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Network Systems Engineers. Required: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or (equivalent (18+)) Expert level work experience as a Cloud Architect. · Expert experience in cloud-based systems architecting. · One or more Cloud Certifications with AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and Google · Networking Experience via Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud, · Operating System Experience: Linux (RHEL\ROCKY) and WINDOWS (Server\Desktop) Desired: · Previous working experience in government or industry, within Cloud Architect profession. · Experience architecting solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data. · Experience architecting solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies. · Experience architecting solutions using Model Based Systems Engineering.
