Job Description: \n
Responsibilities\n
The CD shall train approved government, contracted, and deploying personnel on current software and hardware technologies used by AFCENT to include the AFCENT enterprise architecture. The CD's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n
Job duties: \n\nDevelop training lesson plans and accompanying educational materials in support of two formal training courses.\nManage the government provided training room\/facility, and associated lab, including the training servers and student PCs.\nIdentify necessary equipment and materials necessary to accomplish\/meet the training objectives. Maintain an automated scheduling database for the training lab.\nProvide sourcing, scheduling, and documenting Contractor shall be required to conduct training. The trainer will develop new curriculum to meet current and future training requirements from scratch.\nProvide oversight of other training managers to include scheduling their work to support approved training requirements.\nDevelop training plans, training aids, and training records for IT \nPrimary duties include training deploying personnel, writing lesson plans, and training material, maintaining the training facility and associated lab equipment to include setup and tear down for each class, maintaining web-based scheduling and training materials, and teaching reoccurring training courses to government personnel and other \nEstablish training programs to meet local knowledge and skill requirements and to enhance professional awareness of the technologies utilized in A6 Operations as well as at deployed AFCENT locations.\nContractor shall develop portable training materials to be delivered over multiple mediums, including traditional classroom, web-based, and portable\/removable media- based training\n\n
Qualifications\n\nB.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant experience; or 7 or more years relevant experience AND Firewall and Unix\/Linux experience. \nCCNP, VCTA, Trainer certification (Microsoft, Cisco or military equivalent), and ITIL Foundation)\nActive Secret clearance required.\n\n
