Neuro Interventional Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

St. John's Regional Medical Center  is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed team. As a Neuro Interventional Rad Tech you will play a critical role in providing advanced imaging support for neurointerventional procedures. Exercises quality control for imaging procedures and maintains the prescribed standards of quality.Ensures the proper transfer of images online including correctd labeling of procedures. Assumes the role of an preceptor for technologists students and ancillary personnel on routine or specific procedures.Works as a member of the team providing assistance such as transport and cleaning of exam rooms between proceduresAccurately documents procedure and charges for supplies.Accurately performs and documents hemodynamic monitoring. Performs interventional radiology procedures and neuro-interventional procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years experience as neuro-interventional radiologic technologist in an acute care hospital.Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures.Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required. ARRT certification required.BLS certification required.ACLS certification required.
