All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full-time **Shift** : Days **Location:** 6061 S WILLOW DR, Greenwood Village, 80111 **The role you’ll contribute:** The Enterprise Specialty Educator is a registered professional nurse who demonstrates specialty expertise in clinical nursing and a passion for ongoing support and development for Advent Health clinical associates. The Enterprise Specialty Educator assumes accountability and responsibility for provision of professional development to positively influence the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care in the area of their specialty. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a program of education for their specialty. Programming includes coordination of orientation with facility departments in specialty area, ongoing staff competency as well as continued education at the unit and/or facility level as identified by needs assessments, audits, data informed decision making and regulatory requirement initiatives. Applies policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate to their populations. The scope of the education will be determined through collaborative practice with Enterprise Clinical Specialists, Facility based educators, and providers to enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care. Works closely with the Enterprise Clinical Specialist to align with annual specialty education initiatives, specialty orientation and other enterprise initiatives. May be required to deploy to sites based on initiatives or programs as needed. This position reports centrally at the enterprise level. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Acts as a change agent in support of specialty education initiatives. Advances healthcare practice by supporting the integration of policies, procedures, and standards. Is knowledgeable in current healthcare trends and related legislative issues. + Incorporates evidence-based practice and adult learning theory in project and course content. + Identifies educational needs and opportunities using data from the organization such as regulatory requirements survey information as well as employee and customer evaluation data. Collaborates with staff and management in differentiating between educational versus performance/compliance issues to design an effective plan of action. + Seeks out continuous learning opportunities and continuing education in areas of staff development and clinical expertise.
