Overview Performs Neurodiagnostic advanced surgical procedures, under the direction of the Coordinator of Neuro Services and Medical Directors. Assists with training of students and junior staff under the direction of the Coordinator of Neuro Services and Medical Directors. Competency in advanced surgical procedures includes all methods of intraoperative EEG; SEEG, Grid Placement, SSEP, Brain Mapping, WADA, Surface EEG. Experience with intraoperative Facial Nerve Monitoring, Free Run and Triggered EMG desired. Technicians hired into this position must have completed the registry process through the ABRET REEGT credential prior hire. Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years� experience in the OR, with lead tech experience highly desired. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:: Associates degree or graduation from a CAHEEP approved END training program required. Candidate must have at least one registry in Neurodiagnostics (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, CNCT, RPSGT, CLTM, CNIM). Candidate without CLTM or CNIM must earn one within 24 months of hire. Ideal candidate must be a highly self-motivated and able to work alone without direction. Candidate must also be capable of assuming a leadership role when required. A minimum of 7 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics is required, and experience as a Lead tech is highly desirable. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): (Refer to CP 1.51): Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose Licensure/Certification/Registration:: BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) R.EEG.T Registered Electroencephalography, (ABRET) CNIM Certified Neurointraoperative Monitoring (ABRET) within 24 months CLTM Certified Long Term Monitoring (ABRET) within 24 months
