Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to join the Central Maine Medical Center Neurology team!
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), benefit eligible position.
Performs EEG’s in an adult and pediatric population.
Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
1. Ability to use computerized equipment to perform EEG’s.
2. Obtains patient’s medical history from chart and patient; documents patient information on EEG Tech sheet.
3. Demonstrates the ability to monitor and interrupt test results in order to make changes or adjustments as needed by the physician.
4. Interacts professionally with patients and/or families; treat patients and families with respect.
Regulatory Requirements:
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required.
• Registered with the American Board of Neurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) (preferred) or the equivalent (CAET) within 1 year of employment.
• Current driver’s license.

Skills:
