The role you’ll contribute:

The Neurodiagnostic Tech III is an advanced level specialist position. The Neurodiagnostic Tech III performs procedures appropriate to their competence and according to the facility policy and procedures, including test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety and other related duties. This credentialed specialist provides findings, results and a descriptive analysis according to the facility policy and procedure manual. The EEG Technologist Ill has developed the highest skills and expertise to provide the most complex monitoring needed for brain and epilepsy surgery cases and during all intraoperative long-term monitoring procedures.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.

Performs routine and complex EEGs.

May perform video EEG in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Long Term EEG Monitoring, Evoked Potentials.

May perform monitoring of epilepsy surgery EEG.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, or an Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.

Three years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field which includes two year experience in their specialty modality of practice.

Registered EEG Technologist.
