Neurology Physical Therapist

Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track)

The Department of Neurology, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is recruiting a full-time faculty physical therapist with excellent clinical skills and clinical research experience to join the faculty as Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track). The position will include an appointment with the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health Professions.

As an integral member of the neurology care team, the physical therapist will provide clinical care to a diverse patient population as part of the multidisciplinary team. Patients served include those with neuromuscular disorders (Muscular Dystrophy/ALS), Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and stroke. The role will also include participation in clinical trials that are primarily neuromuscular-focused in addition to their own research.

Applicants must have a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and be eligible for a Texas license.
