We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurology Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The Neurology Assistant supports the Neurologist and Technicians to provide safe and efficient treatments for animals receiving care. They help facilitate the treatment of animals in Neurology by assisting in procedures and consultations.

Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly, based on experienceSchedule:Full TimeMondays - Fridays6:30am-2:30pmKey Areas of Responsibility: Performs animal restraintHelp admit neurology patientsPerform TPR accuratelyAssist the Technician in drug administrationPerform blood work (procyte, chemistry, sedivue, lacuna, assist with send out)Stocking necessary items throughout the departmentCleaning/disinfecting after drug administrationCleaning exam rooms after each examination performedPrepares for procedures and anticipates the needs of the departmentAssist Technicians in CT's, radiographs, and a variety of other proceduresAdministration of oral, IM, SQ medications and SQ fluids under the supervision of a technician Filling prescriptions as ordered by veterinarians or as directed by techniciansOther duties as directed Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 1 years of Animal experience requiredPreferred Qualifications:2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant with job responsibilities that required animal restraint and radiographs.Ability to multitask and anticipate the department's needs.Excellent communication. Experience using Medical Record and Whiteboard programs in a veterinary setting.Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!Benefits:
