Neuromuscular/Autonomic Disorders Neurologist

Position Highlights:

Join one of the largest academic Neurology groups in the Chicago region, with 35+ Neurologists in 11 subspecialty sections. 

Position: Neuromuscular/Autonomic Disorders Neurologist Location: Glenview and Evanston, ILFull Time

What you will need:

Illinois medical license or pendingDEA/Controlled Substance license or pendingCertification:   BC/BE by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

Qualifications: Completed or near completion of a Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders required; Fellowship in Autonomic Disorders or equivalent preferred.

Lead the strategy, care goals, and development of the Neuromuscular Section comprised of a team of neuromuscular specialists, APP and tech support for both EMG and Autonomic testingCultivate the next generation of Neurologists through the design of a new Fellowship Program driven to mentor, professionally advance, and teach clinical excellenceJoin an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, Neuro-Ophthalmologists, Neuro-Psychologists, and Neuro-Radiologists.Diagnose and treat a range of Neuromuscular and Autonomic disorders using Nerve Conduction/EMG, Biopsy, Autonomics Testing (including two complete Autonomics labs with tilt table and comprehensive Neurophysiology technician support)Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the NorthShore Neurological Institute.Participate in Clinical Research supported by a dedicated research team, as desiredTrain the neurologists of tomorrow with an academic appointment from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine; consistently rated by the medical students and residents as one of their best learning experiences.
