NeuroNICU Data Coordinator
(This position requires onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana with occasional remote work)
The position will assist with coordination and organization of the NeuroNICU service line, data management and assist in the conduct and implementation of clinical and translational research under the direction of the principal investigator. The position will assist in the recruitment and screening of study subjects; act as a liaison with sponsors, collaborators and regulatory agencies. The incumbent will perform varied routine and non-routine task of moderate complexity. The incumbent will assist with data collection for quality assurance and research. The incumbent is able to develop solutions to complex problems that impact the coordination and organization of the NeuroNICU as well as the timeliness and accuracy of the conduct of the data collection and clinical research. The position will assist in the maintenance of databases and proper documentation. All activities will be performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides data analysis and database management support to programs and initiatives. Serves as a resource person to all levels of management in reviewing, understanding, and analyzing data for performance improvement initiatives. Provides data analysis support, report generation, data validation, and serves as an expert user, providing training for additional system users.STRONGLY PREFERRED:
2 years of experience in clinical research or clinical patient care. Understanding of clinical research studies within an inpatient and outpatient setting. Development of research protocols, data form development, IRB submissions, computer programs such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint as well as usage and development of database systems such as RedCap, usage and development of audiovisual media files and clinical diagnostic programs.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience. Requires knowledge of computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Access. Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
