Position Summary\n

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Neuroscientist to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.\n

Primary Duties and Responsibilities\n\nConduct surgeries, behavioral testing, and experiments to support the Special Projects Team.\nMaintain laboratory equipment\/supplies.\nSchedule and execute experimental protocols.\nEnsure the quality of procedures and data.\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory agencies.\nPrepare and present presentations and written documents summarizing efforts\n\n

Minimum Qualifications of Neuroscientist
Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.\n\nKnowledge of pharmacology and neuroscience as applied to medical chemical defense research.\nExperience managing a biological laboratory.\nExperience writing, scheduling, and executing protocols.\nExperience in surgery and perfusion.\nExperience in physiological recording techniques (pulseOx, EEG, ECG).\nExperience performing behavioral testing.\nExperience in biological sample collection (blood, brain, tissue, etc.).\nUnderstanding of electrophysiological techniques.\nExperience in fiberphotometry.\nExperience in immunohistochemistry and microscopy\n\n
