RESPONSIBILITIES:A New Application Processor assists the New Account team by entering merchant information into the computer system.
Analyze and make decisions about potential merchant's business and their application
Prepare and sort documents, identify and interpret data to enter information efficiently and accurately
Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into various computer networks following format displayed on screen and enter necessary codes
Compare data entered with source documents, or reenter data in verification format on screen to detect errors
Make necessary corrections to information entered
Transmit entered information into database
Index, copy, and route source documents after entry to various cross functional teams
Respond to inquiries regarding entered data
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: HS/GED
Experience: 1-2 years of application processing or similar experience
Accuracy and previous data entry work
Excellent computer skills, including MS Word
Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years relevant experience
