Off the back of continued business growth, we are currently on the lookout for a **New Business & Marketing Manager** to join us. You will represent Spark Foundry within the Publicis New Business team, and work directly with Spark Foundry’s leadership team for broader marketing responsibilities. This is an incredible opportunity for a driven individual to spearhead the efforts around ensuring Spark Foundry’s profile is distinct in industry positioning and representation. Whether you’re someone with experience in new business, marketing, operations, awards, and/or project management; or, an agency Account / Client Director looking to make the pivot away from day-to-day account management and client servicing – we’d love to hear from you. **Overview** **The role** As part of the **New Business** team, you will support the operations and production of Spark Foundry’s most strategically important new business pitches, ensuring the agency’s unique selling proposition is brilliantly articulated through written documentation, presentations, videos, and marketing collateral. In instances where Spark Foundry is the lead Groupe media agency in a “Power of One” solution for a client, your responsibilities will include liaising with creative, PR, data and technology, and others to ensure a holistic new business solution across Publicis Groupe You will be central to managing Spark Foundry’s contribution within Publicis Groupe’s internal and external data reporting, tracking new business activity via the Salesforce platform and reporting wins, losses, and other key business data to external companies such as RECMA, COMvergence and R3. In summary, your key responsibilities across new business activity will include: Supporting new business pitches + Gather Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) content, complete Excel templates and construct written documents + Work with the Design team to ensure all documents are of highest visual quality and pitch teams have engaging marketing materials to help them standout versus competition + Collaborate with New Business colleagues in other countries by providing inputs for global/regional pitches + Gather feedback and compile learning from all pitches, won or lost Carrying out data analysis and support pipeline reporting + Champion the Salesforce platform – support agencies as required, monitor new opportunities, and ensure client rosters are accurate + Carry out competitor and industry data analysis to assist in building new business pipeline strategy, and compile regular reports for Groupe + Supply accurate market data for Publicis Groupe Australia as and when required for internal or external purpose + Ensure data is always up to date and at fingertips so we can deliver at pace Championing knowledge sharing + Build and maintain online libraries of best practice RFP answers, presentations, and collateral – help teams to help themselves + Participate in the global business development community, listening to monthly global call recordings (owing to time zone challenges) and participating in fortnightly Asia Pacific community calls – share relevant information with Australian stakeholders as appropriate + Digest and share all latest global best practice pitch documents and product overviews with local teams In tandem, as part of the **Product and Marketing team,** you will ensure a distinct Spark Foundry’s ‘voice’ in market, elevating the profile and positioning of our internal and external events, communications, and representation. The focus will be supporting Spark Foundry in raising the profile of our industry benefits and POV. This will include capturing and representing events, perspectives, talent and news across social media and marquee industry awards. In summary, your key responsibilities across marketing activity will include: Awards + Development of an annual Industry Awards calendar including deadlines and categories + Liaising with Strategy and Office leads to nominate best work from across Spark Foundry + Facilitate quality control for final submissions including approval from Executive Team Leads + Upload and manage all Award portals Events + Manage and arrange our client CMO dinner events and additional client thought leadership events: Invites, RSVPs, any content, and distribution / collation of follow up thought leadership written content + Creation of industry events calendar and liaison with Strategy & Executive team members on potential representation and content Content + Manage social media content (focus on LinkedIn, and re-engage / establish presence on Instagram and Facebook) including capturing and reporting of Spark Foundry’s presence or representation at events and news / updates + Liaise with Publicis Comms Team for PR: written perspectives, talent updates, new business success, etc. + Develop PR content calendar nationally for teams to be in market with Spark Foundry perspectives and thought leadership + Create central library for global and locally developed assets and perspectives to enable connectivity and application to elevate client and industry work As the New Business & Marketing Manager, you must be a calm collaborator with a natural aptitude for multi-tasking and project management at pace; and be able to demonstrate success working with stakeholders at all levels within a business. You will be a savvy content creator for social media, with the ability to create compelling content in a distinctly Spark Foundry tone of voice.
