New Business / Key Account Manager - Plastic Raw Materials
Minimum requirements for the role:
Previous experience having sold plastic raw materials into the plastic converting manufacturing or related industry is preferred but not essential. The company is happy to consider a strong salesperson who has sold any products to manufacturing companies in any industry.   The successful candidate must have a strong commercial and business acumen. Must have a good understanding of the impact of the exchange rate on the margin and selling price. Sound ability to communicate effectively across all levels is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing key accounts and developing new business within the plastic converting industry on a national basis. Identifying and targeting possible new customers and ensuring that territory sales objectives are met. Promoting products and services to existing key accounts and new customers. Cultivating long-term customer relationships in order to promote and reinforce value propositions. Liaising with overseas principles and customers to provide advice and assistance when required. Following up on customer requests, orders placed, out of stock situations and all communication to customers. Identifying opportunities to grow the market share by planning, executing and achieving sales growth. Achieving monthly and yearly sales targets through planning and executing business plans for key accounts. Monitoring and controlling budgets on a monthly basis. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
