This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Shoreview, MN located 20-minutes from downtown Minneapolis. No relocation will be provided for this position. Your Day-to-Day:
Write design documents for software projects. Design and develop GE/Emerson PLC software using Proficy. Design and develop HMIs using Wonderware InTouch and/or Proficy View Debug and test PLC and HMI software. Integrate HMI and database interfaces. Demonstrate and utilize software development best practices for successful completion of projects. Provide support for existing customers of WEC FHEM product line. Plan, schedule, and perform work to meet assignment requirements within established scope, schedule, and budgetary requirements. Read and understand schematic diagrams, and apply pertinent information to the project software. Successfully develop and/or review all software test procedures. Interface with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on a professional level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments. Identify and communicate areas for product/service improvements to management personnel. Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation. Resolve Corrective Action issues as required and support process improvement efforts within department and company. Display strong leadership skills. Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks. Identify and assist in development of new business opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned.Who You Are:
