Position Overview:

As a RAN Software Designer at Ericsson RAN Performance Beijing, you will be part of a collaborative team that designs, develops, and implements software solutions to meet the needs of our customers with colleagues from different regions around the world. You will work closely with senior designers and developers to learn best practices and contribute to projects that challenge your creativity and technical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with XFT to design user-friendly and efficient software.
•    Create detailed design documentation and specifications based on requirements and feedback.
•    Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing software applications.
•    Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative features into software designs.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and test engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions.

 

Qualifications:
•    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•    Strong understanding of software design principles and methodologies.
•    Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, golang, Python, or JavaScript.
•    Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.
Preferred Skills:
•    Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
•    Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.
•    Previous internship or project experience in software design or development.
