Looking to take your career to the next step? Hatch is currently seeking Structural CAD Designers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students that have recently completed their Associates Degree or are currently pursuing an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) to work closely with experienced Engineers and Designers who will provide guidance and mentoring.

 

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

This position reports to the Regional Manager - Structural


Qualifications:

A recent or soon-to-be graduate with an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) We are not seeking candidates with a 4-year degree in engineering for this position. Please navigate to our careers website to look for other positions if you are currently obtaining a 4-year degree in engineering.  Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software packages Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills   Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail    Strong written and verbal communication skills    Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges   Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation  Adapts and embraces change   Good safety awareness
