**Job Title:** New Product Introduction Coordinator
**Salary/Grade:** £45,348 - £56,600 per annum (depending on experience)
**Location** : Peterborough (hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

**The opportunity**
Reporting into the New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager you will support a number of NPI programs representing and managing the commercial & service teams' requirements. This role will require you to co-ordinate across a number of internal groups to define, validate and manage service requirements and to collaborate across the internal teams to develop presentations to represent the Commercial & Services team progress & risks to the program.
As the New Product Introduction Coordinator, you will work closely with Construction Industry Product Groups to understand their program service requirements and ensure these are understood and reflected in our internal programs. As well as managing the services requirements & supporting NPI gateway reviews, you will also co-ordinate governance sessions with the Product Groups and required groups to ensure alignment on go-to-market activities and act as a central point of contact into the Commercial & Service Development Team organization.
This is a highly collaborative role, where you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the go-to-market strategy is achieved.
**What you will do:**
+ Define, validate and manage Commercial & Service requirements for the Services & Commercial team across the E+ES organization for the Construction Industries Product Groups.
+ Work in collaboration with Product Groups & Marketing teams to understand target markets from a Services perspective, understand the voice of the customer, support customer journey mapping to support the end-to-end service requirements development.
+ Prepare & present program related material in NPI project meetings including Gateway/Stakeholder reviews.
+ Implement & lead governance processes with the Construction Industries groups to support go-to-market activities & service requirements.
+ Act as the key integration point for Construction Industries programs for the Services & Commercial team.
+ Lead any continuous improvement projects in this area.
+ Understand the technical elements of the product to help define service requirements.
**What you have:**

+ Able to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
+ Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
+ Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
+ Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.
+ Under guidance, develops tactical plan for own direct responsibility.
+ Follows standard criteria to track project progress and status to ensure they are in line with program objectives.
Products and Service Requirements **-** Level Basic Understanding:
+ Obtains information about the product and determines service linkages, ensures identification of customer needs and priorities.
+ Researches the target market and how the product and services are to be offered and delivered.
+ Monitors and reports on delivery of what was promised.
+ Identify problem trends and take steps to avoid recurrence.
Effective Communications - Level Working Knowledge:
+ Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.
+ Confidently presents to large audiences.
+ Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position.
+ Able to communicate to all levels in the organization.
