As a **New Product Introduction** **(NPI) Team Leader** at Caterpillar, you’ll play a key role in bringing innovative solutions to life by addressing unmet customer and business needs. In this role, you’ll also have opportunities to grow your skills, expend your expertise, and gain valuable experience working across different functions, setting you up for future career advancements. **What You Will Do:** + Drive NPI programs by leading cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer and business needs. + Lead and inspire diverse teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to ensure successful program execution. + Optimize processes by aligning on best practices and continuously improving existing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness. + Deliver results by ensuring programs are completed safely, on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards. + Manage stakeholder expectations, working closely with process partners and leaders to provide clarity, alignment, and strategic direction. + Communicate with impact, delivering clear, concise, and transparent updates to keep teams and leadership informed and engaged. **What You Have (Basic Qualifications):** + **Bachelor’s degree** + **Program Management:** Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion. + **Effective Communication:** Ability to clearly convey ideas, expectations, and updates to cross-functional teams and leadership. + **Problem Solving:** Strong analytical skills to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement. **Top Candidates Will Have** : + **Strategic and Tactical Planning:** Ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution to achieve business objectives. + **Quality Management:** Experience in maintaining high standards of quality, ensuring products and processes meet customer and business expectations. **Additional Info** : + Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of onsite, in office work.
