At AAA our branches are where we make good on our promises to our Members and Team Members. A successful New Product Specialist has a solid understanding of how to utilize all branch resources to deliver outstanding Member experiences. The New Product Specialist acts in a service and sales capacity, responsible for providing caring, outstanding Member service with heart. Actively promotes cross sales referrals, sales and branch promotions. The New Product Specialist assists Members and prospective Members on the most effective way to access the full range of AAA offerings with a focus on AAA new products across all channels. Handles moderately complex financial transactions. May provide training and technical guidance to others. Achieves or exceeds sales and service goals. Works under general direction. May be required to provide in-branch assistance in neighboring offices or at out-of-branch events. Makes service decisions within established guidelines including cash handling policies and procedures. Handles routine transactions independently. Takes initiative to pursue and own a personal development plan. Final success is defined as exceeding our members expectations, achieving individual goals and compliance excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Exhibits AAA guiding principles and core values.
+ Act as Subject Matter Expert in branch for all new Product and Bundle Offerings.
+ Effectively communicate AAA new products and value propositions.
+ Achieve monthly assigned sales goals.
+ Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
+ Consistently follow-up on leads and unsold quotes by phone and email. Makes outbound calls for lead generation.
+ Actively works with Branch Team Members to generate referrals.
+ Understands and actively promotes products and services to achieve individual goals in support of meeting organization goals and objectives.
+ Overcomes obstacles that create barriers to Team Member or branch efforts.
+ Identifies process improvement opportunities and proposes solutions.
+ Acts as an agent for change while promoting AAA’s guiding principles and core values.
+ Performs routine sales, service and operational functions for AAA Members including; DMV, cashiering, auto travel, notary and insurance sales support, with expectations for maintaining required standards, policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
+ Demonstrates sales and service skills. Able to effectively interact, face-to-face, with new, prospective and existing Members.
+ Accuracy and comfort handling money, making change, balancing cash drawer.
+ Good computer skills, proficient in both reading and basic arithmetic.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills in person and over the phone.
+ Ability to multitask in response to requests, requirements and Member/Team Member expectations.
+ Ability to accept feedback and correct course as necessary.
+ Genuine passion for the sales discipline and for helping clients succeed
+ Ability to qualify opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
+ Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with Members
+ Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
+ Understanding and experience in professional selling processes
+ Ability and desire to thrive in a fast moving, ever-evolving environment

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 1-2 years of work experience with a preference for sales or customer service-focused positions including work in sales, insurance, retail, service industry, or fast paced office environments
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience working with sales and service standards and goals (preferred).
+ Current & valid Driver's License with clean history may be required
+ Bonding and fingerprinting may be required

Starting rates vary by region. Ranges start from $24.52 up to $29.09 hourly. This role is subject to an incentive plan that includes commissions. We expect most employees to earn between $0 - $15,000 in incentives annually, contingent on performance.
