New Products Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join as a New Products Lead. As a New Products Lead, you will play a key role in preparing successful product launches in the UK market and supporting product development at a global level. Your main responsibilities will involve understanding market and country needs for new products, driving early cross-functional pre-launch planning, and aligning with global and regional functions.

Responsibilities:

1) Understand market and country needs for New Products

Conduct comprehensive market research to understand disease burden, unmet needs, future market trends, competition, policy, and access environment.Map and profile key customers across the ecosystem, including policy makers, patients, healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, and payers.Identify country-specific needs for product clinical development and local value evidence based on real-world evidence (RWE).Identify strategic questions, data gaps, and develop forecasting assumptions and scenarios.Identify critical success factors and develop opportunity and mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launch.Assess the commercial value of new products and determine resource and investment requirements for achieving differential forecasts.

2) Drive early cross-functional New Product pre-launch planning and engagement

Align all functions within the organisation on New Product strategies, including value evidence, access, pricing and reimbursement, policy, advocacy and communication, marketing, medical, clinical & regulatory, delivery & supply, and go-to-market model.Drive patient-focused customer engagement and ensure a positive customer experience.Prepare for the implementation of digital channels and beyond-the-pill solutions to enhance product launch.

3) Align with the Global & Regional functions

Support the development of a New Product's commercial potential during forecast reviews and global Stage Gate Reviews.Contribute to the commercial input for Go/No-Go decisions regarding the advancement or termination of New Products based on commercial potential.
