Hiller is seeking an experienced New Service Seller to join our Battery Energy Storage (BESS) Vertical Market. As a market leader in the space, Hiller is looking for a highly motivated, technical, and client-focused individual to expand our Service Business in the California Market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct-to-end-user sales and a basic understanding of the plan & specification sales process.
This role requires a multifaceted individual with both technical and sales skills to drive market share growth and support our overall service revenue growth strategy.
What You’ll Do:
As a New Service Seller, for the Battery Energy Storage (BESS) Vertical Market you will be responsible for:
Customer Engagement: Actively reaching out to new and existing customers to promote, quote, and sell our fire protection products, systems, and services. Lead Generation: Qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our comprehensive fire and life safety service offerings. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Sales Strategy: Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other effective sales strategies. Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement targeted sales strategies and marketing initiatives. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct regular site visits, review inspection reports, and assess clients' fire protection needs to offer tailored solutions. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting the value proposition of our products or services. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers regarding fire protection systems, equipment, and compliance with industry regulations. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations project managers and technicians, to ensure smooth execution of services and projects. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales calls, activities, and expenses. Submit sales reports and forecasts in a timely manner. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and track progress using CRM tools. Quote Management: Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform. Service Coordination: Coordinate with our Service Department to schedule work once a sale is closed. Travel: Travel up to 20% for training, business development, and customer visits within the Western Region Other Duties as Assigned.
Pay Range: $75,000-$140,000 annually
