The New Solutions Development Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams for initiatives related to Valvoline Global Operations product lines in the Americas. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the launch of new products and any changes to existing products (line extensions, minor modifications, cost improvement opportunities, etc.) The primary focus is to initiate, plan, execute, control and close approved projects via the New Solutions Development process. The 3 main responsibilities will be to Plan, Monitor, and Document progress of the project in a highly organized process to stay on schedule and within budget. _This role will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday in Lexington, KY._ **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Lead project commercialization teams. Responsible for creating, managing, and communicating project timelines, and adjusting the project plan as needed based on organizational priorities. + Lead cross functional team meetings to commercialize the project plan. Ensure team members are completing tasks and adhering to timeline. + Manage artwork requirements utilizing Workfront PM tool. + Provide New Solution Development process oversight (pre-NSD meetings, NSD Gate Reviews, Red Flag assessments, etc.) + Participate in cross functional discussions regarding project change communication. + Ensure effective decisions are made when needed. + Serve as the point of contact for all questions related to the project. + Complete new material set-up and extensions utilizing SAP. + Update and upkeep of project information in Workfront (PM Tool), ensuring best practices in PM methods and documentation. + Provide team members with agendas, meeting recaps, project checklists and timelines. + Foster effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status. + Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion. **What You’ll Need** + Bachelors Degree + 5 - 7 years experience with project management + Consumer packaged goods experience including knowledge of packaging, artwork development and operational execution **required** + Detail oriented with strong organizational skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Highly proficient in any project management tools (Workfront, MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware or Planview) + MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **What Will Set You Apart** + Familiarity with SAP + PMP Certified + Familiarity with Stage Gate process Valvoline Global provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
