New Store Opening Manager
As the New Store Opening Manager, you will be responsible for the store team’s development and execution of new-stores projects (new store opening, remodels, and relocations), project plans, and related deliverables. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with back-office and field partners, ensuring that project milestones and budgetary constraints are met. Responsibilities continue after a new store opening; evaluations completed through on-site visits at 30-60-90-day milestones.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

Executes New Store Opening Action Plan in partnership with the store team.Trains and enables new store managers on new store set up processes.Conducts new store opening turnover walkthrough alongside construction team and ensures any issues are addressed prior to turnover.Responsible for overseeing and distributing the nightly progress recaps from the store teams to the appropriate retail partners.Responsible for maintaining and refining the New Store Opening Playbook/Guidebook based on changes to retail processes.Well versed in retail store operational, marketing, visual standards and able to convey and train new store teams on these standards.Remains calm under pressure. Engages and motivates new store staff when obstacles arise.Identifies and recommends cost optimization opportunities with the new store opening week process.Identifies operational opportunities/successes and provides clear and concise feedback with recommendations to the store team and District Manager. Serves as the onsite point person during the operational turnover for all new store openings and remodeled locations.Proactively recognizes and communicates potential roadblocks as it pertains to meeting the opening deadline.Seamlessly hand off fully completed and ready-to-open new store to store leadership team prior to departing.Performs follow up first year store visits to identify areas of success/opportunity across all areas to include product, operations, visual, and marketing. These visits should be conducted 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days after opening and, at times, additional visits may be needed.

All employees are required to use ladders as an essential function of this job, as that is part of their daily duties to set up the store’s operations and to service customers. Therefore, retail dress code and safety policies must be followed.

Starting Pay 70,000.00 - 90,000.00
