About WEEK:

WEEK-TV is an award-winning station that leads the community in local news coverage and community involvement. It operates a number of TV stations in the Peoria, IL television market including WEEK 25 (NBC), Heart of Illinois ABC, and Peoria-Bloomington's CW.

Job Summary/Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to follow current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting, and unbiased way. Keep abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, etc.

Responsibilities will be to communicate with MMJ's, Assignment Manager, and Assistant News Director to create a fast-paced, smoothly sequenced, and fact-based newscast daily.
