         The News Producer produces daily newscasts, decides the order in which stories will be told, writes teases and other content, times news programs, edits video, and posts to the website.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Produces newscasts for broadcastWrites and approves news storiesBalances news and feature content to create compelling broadcastsEdits videoWrites stories for the website and other digital platformsGathers facts and confirms storiesPerforms other duties as assigned

 Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work any shift
