Hourly Pay Rate: $22.50

Schedule: 7 Days on, 7 Days off

 

Location Information

Located in northwest North Dakota, our Tioga Terminal handles the loading of crude oil and natural gas into rail tanker cars.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks on schedule. Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math. Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment. Transfer of various dry bulk products including cement and coal from barge to bag, truck or railcar. Complete all applicable documentation, recordkeeping and daily inventory. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds alone, twist, and climb. Must be able to talk and hear well enough to communicate with all team members, vendors, and customers 100% of the time Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and pass along information from team members, management or customer. Operate in a manner where SAFETY and the ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance. Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect, hook up, disconnect and seal. Perform daily inspections on all stationary and mobile equipment Prepare equipment for product transfer. Start, stop, and operate equipment within defined operating parameters. Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions. Must be able to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on production needs Goal oriented and results driven Ability to learn and become proficient in all aspects of the operation Ability to perform physically demanding work

 

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license preferred Preferred experience with forklift’s

 

Machines, Tools, Special Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment Used

Forklift, shovel, sweeper, wrapping machine, various transfer machines (auger and pneumatic), various small hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets)

PPE:  reflective clothing, hard hat, gloves, safety toe boots, safety glasses, radio
