Nichols Fire & Security, recently joined the Impact Fire Services team and is a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services. Nichols Fire & Security operates in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas and engineers, sells, monitors, inspects and services a multitude of low-voltage systems including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Area of Rescue, BDA ERCES, Nurse Call and Intrusion systems. We also sell, service and inspect fire extinguishers. The company is committed to providing the customer with superior engineering, installation and service that exceeds your expectations.

Security Technician- Install and Service Burglar, CCTV, Intercom, Access and integrated systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum of 3 years of related technical experience in the Low Voltage industry. Will consider candidates with less experience.

Prior experience installing any of the following areas, burglar alarms, CCTV, Intercom, Access and integrated systems.

Must be willing to work overtime

Commercial Security Alarm & CCTV Experience

State Low Voltage License in Fire Alarms is a plus but not required.

Must possess a valid drivers’ license in addition to a clean driving record

IP Camera and Server experience in addition to excellent technical troubleshooting skills

Possess a professional attitude with emphasis on serving the customer

Proficient computer skills using laptops and IPADS

NICET Certified (preferred)

Experience with Fiber Optics ( preferred)

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
