NICU Trainer OT

Job Summary:  To train Occupational Therapy staff on specialized assessments and interventions necessary to provide safe and appropriate developmental care to neonates and infants in the NICU setting.

Qualifications: Bachelors, Master’s or Doctoral degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Occupational Therapy.  North Carolina state license required.  10 Years of experience in the NICU setting required.  Considerable knowledge of occupational therapy terminology, procedures, and techniques.  Thorough skill in performing occupational therapy procedures within the NICU setting.  Demonstrates effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to embody CaroMont’s cultural values. Commitment to providing highly reliable, high quality, safe and compassionate care with the passion for continuous growth and providing excellent patient experience.  Required BLS Certification.
