Each day inspires in special places like this. + Low-cost shared dormitory housing available for $65/ week including utilities and wi-fi + Housing includes free on-site laundry and communal area for cooking + Live amongst the giant sequoias + Access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails with campsites, caves, mountains, rivers, and lakes to explore! **What will you do?** + Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales and manual sales sheets, understand guest folio, explanation of billing and how to make any needed corrections + Review pending advance deposits and charges, check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently + Quote room rates and room package information, post charges for in-house accounts + Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments, securing the bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies + Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations + Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts **More about you** + Previous experience in cash handling + Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial + Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members + Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change + Experience using Microsoft Excel + No high school diploma or GED required **Shift details** Day shift Overnight Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends Evenings as needed Overtime as needed **Who we are** Kings Canyon National Park offers some of the most spectacular hiking, backpacking, and photographic opportunities in the United States.
