We are looking for aNight Auditorto join our Front Office team As an integral part of the overnight operations, the Night Auditor welcomes guests to the hotel, assures guest requests are handled, reviews and audits daily transactions, and sets the hotel up for a successful new day. The Night Auditor also serves as the main point of contact for any safety, security, or guest relations concerns during the overnight shift. THE ROLE

Ensure all aspects of hotel accounting are processed correctly and accurately recorded, protecting the brand and asset against liability and fraudAudit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage transactionsEnsure hotel occupancy is maximized and that all guest accounts are checked in correctlyRun the night audit final, after ensuring all transactions are accurateAttend to guest needs at the front desk, provide management presencePrepare limited menu items for guest food and beverage orders as neededThe Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work as well as all Host functions during the overnight shift.

Excellent written and verbal communicationCommitment to providing high quality guest serviceBasic knowledge of accounting principlesTeam player with an eye for detailFront Office experience in a busy five star hotels is preferred but not essentialPrevious experience with Opera is advantageousMust have work rights in Australia

(Please note, this role works overnight shifts and must have flexibility to work weekends and public holidays where needed)
