Night Floor Tech
**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all floor surfaces in our facility. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** • Must be 18 years of age or older • No experience required and on the job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** • Customer service experience • 1 year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** + Clean, maintain, and restore various types of flooring including tile, carpet, vinyl, and concrete + Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and extractors + Strip, wax, buff, and seal hard surface floors as needed + Shampoo and extract carpets using appropriate methods and chemicals + Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required + Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs + Monitor inventory of floor care supplies and request restocking as needed + Assist with general janitorial duties when required + Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe, and hazard-free A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
