Our Night Freezer Forklift Operators make $25.56 /HR. 

Main Ingredients of the Job As a US FOODS® Forklift Operator you will be critical to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. Transports pallet loads of product from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment and ensures all pallets are secure in designated slots to avoid damage or injury when product is selected. Replenishes pick slots with products from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection. Performs operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguishers. Records all product, equipment, and warehouse damage. Maintains the cleanliness of aisles by removing any debris from the floor and racks. Work continually in freezer (-10°F to +10°F), company apparel providedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); must be able to understand Voxware commands.CERTIFICATIONS/TRAININGOSHA compliant Forklift Certification requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredPrior Selector experience preferredPrior Forklift Operator experience preferredMust be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed Prior experience operating a forklift/high-liftGreat Forklift Operators are crucial to the US Foods® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21 and $26.
