Job DescriptionReporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesSupervise and coach team members’ performance toward achieving exceptional guest serviceAudit work of Room Attendants and House Persons in assigned areas to remain consistent with Tivoli standardsEnsure cleanliness of guest corridors, rooms, and other specific areas of the hotel as assignedProactively identify potential day-to-day operational concerns, determine appropriate solutions and follow-up to ensure high service levels are maintainedDemonstrate Tivoli core values in all interactionsEnsure employees receive the required training and support to effectively perform their rolesManage all aspects of Room Attendants’ performance including the completion of annual performance reviewsAssist in the preparation of preventive housekeeping maintenance reports and analysesPromptly respond to guest complaints and ensure appropriate follow up activities occur and all items are documented according to standard operating proceduresFollow and ensure compliance with all corporate, hotel and departmental policies and proceduresParticipate in hotel committeesStrict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Tivoli, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centre for disease control (CDC).Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma required; Hospitality degree is an assetAt least 2 years housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment requiredAt least 1-year supervisory experience is preferred; basic training skills are requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressureExperience with Property Manager and Microsoft office suite of programmes is an assetDemonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to meet exacting standardsProven ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
