What You'll Do

Responsible for providing quality guest service within the guidelines specified by hotel management. Lead all Front Office operations (Front Desk, IRD, Bell, Door, and Night Audit), set and maintain a high level of guest service, provide support for your team. Assist with employee scheduling, mentoring, and coaching in all areas of operation.

Some of your responsibilities include: Address and communicate any issues on the Night Audit shifts. Meet or exceed levels of service in the Mystery Shopper Survey and maintain the "guest ledger" and "guest comment card" return ratios required by the hotel and management. Monitor and maintain operational supplies. Responsible for meeting or coming in under payroll and expense budgets. Monitor and supervise all duties performed by employees. Assist with building employee schedules. Mentor, coach, and counsel employees when necessary, using proper documentation and techniques. Ensure all employees are posted at their stations at required times, before employees depart make sure their essential duties have been completed. Assist with all sick calls or tardiness by finding coverage, report to work and stay until coverage can be found. Accountable for the training and daily monitoring of all service levels provided by employees to guests and other fellow employees. Ensure that employees are following accurate cash and credit handling procedures. What You Bring Prior experience working in a supervisory role is preferred. Ability to work independently with excellent decision making skills. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people. Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite. The salary range for this role is $55,000.00-$57,000.00 annually.
