Night Manager

We are looking for a Night Manager to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open inMid-End 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon.Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Manager to join our team at our luxury hotel. This role involves a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services:

Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service.Handle guest complaints, requests, and emergencies efficiently.Oversee the check-in and check-out process for late arrivals and early departures.

2. Security and Safety:

Monitor the security of the hotel and ensure the safety of guests and staff.Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any potential security or safety issues.

3. Night Audit:

Oversee the night audit process, including balancing financial transactions and generating reports.Ensure all financials records are accurate and up-to-date.

4. Staff Management:

Supervise and support night shift staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel policies and standards.Conduct briefings for night staff to inform them of nightly activities, VIP arrivals, and special requests.

5. Operations:

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during the night.Address any operational issues that arise and ensure they are resolved promptly.
