Night Shift Locomotive Operator

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Operate locomotives to transport materials within the plant.
+ Perform routine inspections and maintenance on locomotives.
+ Ensure safe and efficient operation of rail equipment.
+ Coordinate with team members to manage rail movements.
+ Maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
**What Are We Looking For:**
+ Proficiency in operating locomotives and rail equipment.
+ Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
**Conditions of Employment:**
+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
**Work Environment:**
+ Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
**Physical Demands of the Job:**
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
+ Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on equipment.
+ Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
+ Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
+ Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
