Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of assigned employees and for all processes related to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity and resources for their assigned role. This includes the production, quality, scrap, housekeeping and safety results generated on the shift, as well as, the conduct and morale of all associates.
While performing the duties of this job, the Shift Supervisor is often subjected to changing priorities, time pressures and constraints. The Shift Supervisor is expected to adapt and respond professionally with an appropriate sense of urgency without sacrificing safety.
Directly supervises 15-30 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Berry Global policies and procedures, as well as any applicable state or federal laws.
