Reports To:            Team captain & FLM

Start Time : 2100 - 0500 or 2000 - 0400 5 days over 7 - not Saturdays

Hours per week: 37.5hrs

Rate Of Pay: £11.44 per hour + night shift allowance

                       

Job Purpose:

To accurately sort & distribute orders sent into transport into correct van routes/areas.

Key Accountabilities

Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.Safe transfer of load to despatch bay.Correctly sorting and distribution of orders.Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.Adherence to checking off procedures.Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.Damages awareness and procedures.Understanding productivity.Importance of security.Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.Manual Handling

Desirable

Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable. Driving licence preferable but not essential due to start times.

MANUAL HANDLING

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
