Night Supervisor

Job Purpose:
This Night Supervisor role is for onshore activities on an MLR. The MLR, including crew, is contracted from an established Contractor, along with other specialized services. The activities take place in the North East of the Netherlands. The Supervisor is the senior representative on-site, with responsibilities partly delegated to the Supervisor. This role reports to the Wells Operations Team Lead and oversees activities such as drilling new wells, workovers, and abandonments.

Accountabilities:

Represents the company at the well-site both internally and externally (e.g., regulator).

Project Execution – Plans, supervises, and documents drilling, completion, workover, and abandonment activities. Collaborates with contractors and engineers to optimize well work decisions.

HSSE – Ensures HSSE integration into operations, promoting compliance with safety standards.

Coaching and Mentoring – Supports team members to enhance HSSE, cost, and time management.

Cost and Time Tracking – Monitors well costs and job timing, identifying efficiency improvements.

Contract Management – Manages contractor services, evaluates service quality, and supports contract strategies.

Performance Improvement – Leads operational enhancements and implementation of new technologies.

Communication – Maintains clear communication across production operations and support teams.

Skills & Requirements:

Relevant certification/diploma required; experienced consultants must pass a trade test.

IWCF L4 certification.

Proven experience in well engineering, including well design, planning, and execution.

Familiarity with NL rules and legislation (Arbo/SodM) or similar regulations in Western Europe.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in multi-disciplinary teams.
