Job DescriptionROLE OVERVIEW

To provide support to the Amcor Healthcare Packaging Oshkosh Clean Room by operating production equipment for all pouch/bag orders needed to make Customer Service requirements.

Compensation

12 hour 2-2-3 night shift (6pm-6am)

$27.00/hour with $1.20 shift differential for night shift

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilitiesPromotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the BHPO facilityFollows job procedures to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors /Management of Quality concerns/issuesMaintains 6S procedures and ensures work environment is clean and clutter-freeFollows all GMP, ISO, PPE, and Gowning procedureChecks material against spec and documents results to ensure correct material is staged. During Start-Up and Run the Operator will perform all testing required to guarantee highest quality.Perform set-up of machine per work instructions and procedures with the assistance of a Clean Room Specialist to ensure customer satisfaction. Performs set up’s in a timely manner. Standard run and waste rates must be maintainedLoads raw material onto machineObserves machine operation and works with a Clean Room Specialist to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.  Documents any changesPerforms minor machine maintenance, submits requests for maintenance when neededTeach/train Clean Room Specialist how to set-up, run, document and make adjustments.  Assist them on maintaining run when Clean Room Specialist is performing operator duties as part of their trainingTroubleshoots machine to ensure product is running within the customer specificationsPerforms packaging responsibilities as part of their normal jobCoordinates and monitors the work of the Clean Room SpecialistCorrectly fills out all paperwork and completes IPPH’s as needed which includes assisting in the recoveries and informing QA when needed to ensure timely products.Assists during set-ups of “other” machines to ensure all machines are set-up and running in a timely mannerPerforms necessary quality testing in accordance with testing guidelinesParticipate in and supports World Class Operations Management (WCOM) teamsAssumes additional job related projects and tasks as they are assigned

Willing and able to work 12 hour overnight shiftsMachine Operation ExperienceAbility to read, understand, and follow customer specificationsBasic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, & understanding of mechanical equipmentBasic math, reading, computer, and measurement skillsRequired to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devicesMid-level communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonalWilling to support all areas of the Clean Room as needed/requestedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
